Extraordinary General meeting
The meeting of the 3rd May mostly discussed the club finances. Details of this are in the minutes, but basically we now have about £78 in the bank, and expect to need another £611 before next year’s membership fees become due.
We voted unanimously on a £15 per person one off levee. This should get us to the end of the year without going overdrawn.
Levee
As agreed at the EGM, all members need to pay an additional £15 per person. Please give a cheque to the treasurer ASAP.
Cutting comments
The mower arrived Sunday 3rd April; here Ted zooms past me doing at least 2mph!

This is great fun, the next best thing to driving a real tractor, so book your turn now.
You’ve got a flat
The mower will be stored at the farm, under cover, and easily be driven to and from the field; but as can be seen currently has a flat tire (this has now been fixed).

This is quite well hidden, and will soon be secured with a motorcycle chain (anti theft type rather than drive).
Site changes
Parking
At request of the farmer, please park close to the new gate when possible.
Path
To improve safety, we will be moving the path (between parking to the flying patch) uphill E.G. towards the main road. This will mean those loading / unloading will no-longer be overflown by people on landing approach.
We will mow the path in shortly, please use it instead of the old one.
Lessons (re)learnt
Battery
While flying inverted, the editor had a battery pack fall out again today (1st May) clearly even more Velcro is required with such heavy batteries.
